I get excited with quirky henna bookings. I love creating henna art, meeting new people, travelling to new destinations and taking part in amazing events, it feeds my soul! The Indie Beauty Expo at The Old Truman Brewerey in London was certainly an exciting event.

I was booked by the lovely Sarah all the way from California baby! She invited me to ‘THE’ Indie Beauty Expo in London! This is a fantastic expo for beauty lover, buyers, sellers, press and media to engulf in the beauty world. The buzz was electric! Sarah is the founder of Bili Beauty, an upcoming vegan cosmetics brand made with 100% natural ingredients. Her products are cruelty free and made with 100% natural ingredients and given the highly pigmented eyeshadow palette I witnessed this is an epic creation.
The product names are based on Sarah’s Indian heritage and the packaging is bright, in your face, quirky and creative. The brand surely stands out, and the products are created in her home town, California.
The idea of incorporating henna at the expo was introduced by Sarah’s best friend who’d flown to England to support her (Sweet! See the selfie of us above!). The henna was received extremely well by attendees and event organisers for sure. There were many first time henna clients and as always, it was beautiful to share the art form and spread cultural awareness.
